Buyabo Jere Oga Art, known professionally as Buyabo Jere, is a multidisciplinary storyteller working across film, stage and campaign. His practice fuses the textile grammar of Kitenge, Ankara and Maasai beadwork with the speculative visual language of afrofuturism.
He has led production design and art direction for feature films, editorial series and stage productions across Nairobi, Lagos and Cape Town — writing, acting and directing where the story demands it.
